It’s the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.
Oh! That series has been on my TBR for ages. Should I pick up the first one next week when I can finally go on a book buying spree?

I’m just going to jump in here and say that Curran’s magical lion loins are a thing of beauty. Amanda is absolutely correct in saying that you must read this series. Then you can go around saying “The lion’s loins were fruitful today.” Plus, it’s always fun to talk about magical lion babies. We love the magical lion babies.
