I know it’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these- things got crazy at work plus it was the end of the semester. BUT, all of that is now over so I can get back to my regularly scheduled blogging.
Without further ado, meet this week’s quote:

Buffy: “Does it ever get easy?”
Giles: “You mean life?”
Buffy: “Yeah. Does it get easy?”
Giles: “What do you want me to say?”
Buffy: “Lie to me.”
Giles: “Yes, it’s terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.”
Buffy: “Liar.”~From Lie to Me, S2 Ep7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I loved this! Made my night!!

Oh my gosh. I somehow managed to overlook this feature, but as a confessed (and proud) Buffyholic, I love it.
And this quote is fabulous. Oh Giles. I wish we all had a Giles in our lives. One of the best “dads” I’ve ever seen on TV (never mind that he’s not actually Buffy’s dad).
PLUS, I have a great love for this particular episode because Ford was played by Jason Behr, who played Max on Roswell, another one of my favorite blast-from-the-past shows. So it gave me happy feelings when I realized he was on Buffy (and in such a great guest role).

I swear Lauren – you’re a gal after my own heart!
(Did you know Roswell is on Netflix streaming?)

That’s how I watched it the first time! Of course, now I own the series on DVD so that I can get my Michael fix whenever I want
