Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is the weekly recap feature created by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Tara @ 25 Hour Books, where they shamelessly plug each other, share the fantastic posts, giveaways, or whatever else they’ve found and loved by other awesome bloggers (or authors!) during the week, and talk about the books they plan on reading in the coming week.
It’s a great community-building feature, so I’m dumping my regular weekly wrap-up and joining forces with these guys! The format of the post will evolve as I figure out exactly what sorts of things I like to include.
Mandi Kaye’s Week
Just a quick note that I’m going to be in NYC next week (I leave the day after tomorrow!) for BEA! I will have posts scheduled to go up, but I won’t be around on Twitter and other online places as much. Try not to have too much fun without me!

- Review: The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross
- Audiobook Review: Hounded by Kevin Hearne
- Dawn’s in Trouble, Must be Tuesday

Around the Interwebz
These are all posts/articles/whatever from around the web that I loved.
- Poisoned Rationality did a great links post for BEA Happenings (did I mention I’m going to BEA?)
- Smash Attack Ash put together a list of her favorite WP plugins.
- Books, Biscuits and Tea asks for advice on reading slumps (while giving some good pointers).
- Rachel @ Fiktshun featured Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent in her Book Watch post. I can’t wait to read this book!
- Miss Remmers explains why she prefers the Breaking Dawn movie over the book, while simultaneously ranting about the book.
- Amanda @ On a Book Bender wrote a lovely post on The Responsibility of Having a Successful Idea. Every word is truth!
- Small Review gives advice and tips for blog design.
- Kaye @ Water Color Moods has another links post for BEA. (I mentioned I’m going, right?!)
- Jenn @ The Bawdy Book Blog picked JBZ and Katniss. I know right?!
- Gizmo’s Book Reviews picked Elena and Curran. Werewolf and werelion. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Thanks for the shout out and have a blast at BEA! I wish I was going, and planned to, but it didn’t work out for me this year. I’ve used up too much vacation time already…soooo, next year!

Thanks! I’m soooo excited, even though it doesn’t quite feel real yet. I mean – I’m going to NYC! (Never been).
And yours was, by far, the best FF I saw today.
How could I not link it up?!

You’re not excited about going to BEA, are you? Because I feel like you didn’t mention it enough.
Also, I like that you added where you found the books to add to your TBR list!

I can go back and add it in some more.
And I did that just for you! It was a good idea.

It makes me think I should start paying more attention to WoW posts…. or maybe not, if my goal is to keep my TBR list to a minimum. =P
I love Wednesdays because I learn about so many books I’ve never heard of! And the last several weeks, I haven’t had the time to go through very many WoW posts – ordinarily, I’d have way more adds to my TBR list.
The only thing to figure out is when I’ll have time to read them!
Thanks for the link!

DUDE. I had a link come through for approval on the blog from here: http://aboutbook.info/books/never-too-fond-of-books-clock-rewinders-on-a-book-binge-6-1-12

Thanks, Smash. I don’t even know what to do about it though – there’s no contact info AT ALL (at least that I can find) anywhere on the page.
Ugh.
