Friday Feature and Follow 5.4.12

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This week’s features are Ali’s Bookshelf Reviews and The Housework Can Wait

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

First, I have to ditto what Parajunkee said. Completely and wholeheartedly.

Second, I can’t narrow it down to a single favorite author. So here’s a short, not exhaustive, list.

  • Kelley Armstrong: I’m so sad you’re ending the Women of the Otherworld series, but I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
  • Rachel Vincent: I really really hope you write more about Faythe. I love your other series, but nothing compares to Faythe and Marc.
  • Michael Grant: You’re an evil genius. That is all.
  • LJ Smith: Please please release Strange Fate already. I’ve been waiting for that book for well over a decade.

You can follow me via RSS (click the handy button in the top of my sidebar), Like my Facebook Page, or follow me on Twitter.

Of course, I’d love it if you did all three. :)

The Rules:

(taken from Parajunkee)

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
  8. If you’re new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Oh Kelley Armstrong. <3 You know, it's weird but I only recently realized how, at first glance, Vincent's Faythe novels are very similiar to the first two or so Otherworld novels.

Hopping through. I have read Rachel Vincent yet. She’s one of the authors that I really want to get into. I’ve heard great things about her books.

The majority of the books I review are obtained as advanced copies via Net Galley or Edelweiss, through ARC tours, or they are finished books I have purchased myself.

If you are an author or publisher and would like me to review your book, please read my review policy and contact me.

Each review will contain affiliate links to various booksellers for that book. If you choose to purchase the book through those link, I will be compensated.
